ID Medical is delighted to be partnered with the BMJ, to bring our nurses this new course.
The NMC Test of Competence Part 1 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of over 300 Multiple Choice Questions. It is intended for applicants trained outside the EU (European Union) and European Economic Area seeking employment as a nurse in the UK.
The Adult Nursing test covers four main domains as described by the Nursing and Midwifery Council:
You will be tested on a range of generic nursing competencies as well as topics relevant to just your specific field of adult nursing.
The test will also contain a set of questions on patient or public safety and are considered to be ‘critical items’ that you will need to answer correctly as part of your overall exam pass.
BMJ OnExamination’s NMC Part 1 revision resource contains multiple choice questions in the same format you will see in the actual Computer Based Test covering all four of the domains and questions specific to adult nursing addressed in the test, ensuring that you can fully prepare for your exam.
Your NMC Part 1 Revision Resource will include:
These tools will stretch you and put your knowledge and exam aptitude to the test with questions being delivered in a random order not by topic. You can work in test mode which means you will not see any answers until the end, you can also access a series of Mock Tests.
Our learning tools help you to focus your revision and improve your knowledge by targeting your weak areas. You will be able to structure and plan how to systematically tackle all the relevant topics and make handy revision notes as you progress through the questions.
Detailed Performance Analysis tools and graphs will ensure you understand how you are performing by session and improving over time. The learning journal logs all your learning throughout your subscription.
Our free App allows you to revise offline on up to two devices, allowing you to fit in your revision wherever you are around your work and home commitments. Responsive customer service and clinical revision support is on hand to help guide and inform your revision experience.
