Ultrasound Practical course
Dates: Sunday 18th March & Saturday 17th November8 CPD points upon completing this one day course.
Ultrasound Practical Day is a practical component to consolidate your experience in ultrasound, for those who have firstly undertaken our Ultrasound and ECHO Level 1 course, or have a basic experience of Ultrasound.
This will help you to achieve sign off and will include 20-25 supervised scans in your log book which will be signed by a certified trainer to enable you to complete your log book.
Once the required competency is achieved, ID Medical School can arrange a full sign off session for Level 1 ultrasound, approved in the NHS and which will help your Locum career.
The course will include:
- Echo (PLAX and PSAX)
- FAST and LUNG
- Vascular practice on 2 phantom arms
- Aorta and IVC
Attendees will receive 8 CPD points/hours upon completing the course.
